PART TIME - SALARY
Community Managers will be responsible for elevating their spaces and leading their teams to bring guests the best possible experience.
Expectations
The Community Manager will elevate the experience for both our guests and our team of Changeover Hosts.
The Community Manager will make sure schedules and changeovers run smoothly,
train and motivate their team of hosts, and ensure the space experience meets the
Lumen Room standards.
The Community Manager will exemplify Lumen Room’s mission and motto to their
teams and guests and will make sure their spaces are clean, stocked, updated, and in the best possible condition for guests.
The Community Manager will go above and beyond to serve their guests through hard work and attention to detail with meticulousness to make sure the space is in pristine condition for each reservation.
Responsibilities
Orders- Ordering supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, wipes, soap, floor cleaner, Magic Erasers, etc.)
Deliveries - Receiving packages, unboxing, breaking down boxes, etc. Assembling new
furniture. Being present for furniture deliveries that require signing.
Scheduling - Scheduling changeover hosts and communicating the schedule to hosts.
Meetings- Monthly meetings with HQ to discuss trends and identify areas of
opportunity
Touch ups - Once-weekly list of touchups to be done when the space is not in use
(likely evenings) including touching up paint, sparkling and removing nails, scheduling floor cleanings, etc. based on a checklist.
Onboarding - Being present for all interviews for prospective changeover hosts to
determine if they are a good fit of your team. Training and on-boarding new team
members according to LR mission, values, and expectations.
Crisis Management - contacting property managers, HQ, etc. when trouble arises.
Meeting with contractors to ensure space repairs are done well.
Success looks like:
Your spaces are in tip-top shape. Baseboards and walls are refreshed weekly, space is restocked, furniture is in good condition, etc.
You are listening to guests about their experiences to identify successes and problems within your spaces.
Your team receives clear communication on their schedules, goals, and expectations.
They are bought into their role on the team.
You are looking to grow LR guest traffic, fill empty slots with events, turn sporadic
users into regulars, etc. You are out networking in the community and spreading the
word to make sure creatives in your city know and love The Lumen Room!
COMPENSATION:
$15,000/yr (less than 30 hrs/week)
Part-time - Salary
• Space coverage for 3 days a week
• Mileage Reimbursement (.56/mile from home to space)
• Free hour each month for personal use
